JT Bennett

June 13, 1947 - January 26, 2017

RUPERT – JT Bennett, son of Bill and Fay Bennett, was reunited with his family Jan. 26, 2017, due to a heart attack.

He was born June 13, 1947, in Rupert, Idaho. He was raised on a farm northeast of Rupert where he enjoyed riding horses and working with livestock. JT was content when he was with his horse, his lariat, and his leather gloves.

He served an LDS mission for two years in the Gulf States.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Paul West; and several aunts and uncles.

JT was always on the go when I was around him. Seemed he was always on a tight schedule. Was a good man and a true friend.

I thought JT was a very nice friend. I hoped he would have been able to come to the 50th Reunion. Yes, it is sad when our classmates pass away.

Our paths never crossed in school, but I knew who J.T. was whenever I saw him. To me, J.T. radiated goodness. I hope his loved ones are all doing well.
