Rick had a distinguished 20 year career in the Air Force. Upon his retirement from the Air Firce, he was hired by Midwest Airline out of Milwaukee, WI and flew for the airline industry for 16 years. Rick was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family! He was buried at the National Cemetary at Leavenworth, KS.

My Wife Cathy Steiner Thomas went to school with Rick's wife Marsha at Orofino High School.

I went to the U of I with Rick. ROTC was mandatory for two years. Rick chose Air Force, I chose Army. Rick made a career, I did my time. He was a great friend.
