Wayne Eilers

Wayne LaRay "Wing" Eilers, 56, of Twin Falls, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Wayne was born August 7, 1947, in Rupert, Idaho, the son of Jake and Virginia Stemm Eilers.  As a young man, he served his country in the National Guard.

His work experience ranged through many different fields.  He worked for over nine years at Clear Springs Foods in Buhl.  During the last year of his life, he was employed as a bar assistant with Cactus Pete's Resort and Casino.  Wayne enjoyed tinkering with cars.  You could always find him with the hood up.  He also loved to listen to police scanners and his CB.  He never knew a stranger and always had a smile and a helping hand for everyone.  He was dedicated to his family and friends and could always be counted on to offer love and support.

His family and friends knew Wayne as a Prayer Warrior.  He was very active in his Home Bible Study Group and was also a member of the Twin Falls First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Eilers of Kimberly, Idaho; his mother Virginia Eilers of Rupert, Idaho; two brothers, Marion Eilers of Rupert and Warren (Becky) Eilers of Starr, Idaho; and two grandchildren, Preston B. Eilers and Donovan M. Eilers.  Also surviving is his dear friend, Laura Aguirre of Gooding.

Services were held on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the Twin Falls First Baptist Church.  Interment was at the Twin Falls Cemetery.  All services and arrangements were under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
