Obituary for Tony Lee Stewart

Times News 24 June 1981

Minidoka - Tony Lee Stewart, 33, of Minidoka, died Sunday evening (21 June 1981) of injuries sustained in an airplane accident near Bliss.

He was born Jan 24, 1984, at Eugene, Ore. He moved with his family to Minidoka in 1958. He graduated from Minico High School (class of 1966) and from the University of Idaho in 1970. He served in the US Navy from 1970 to 1971 at which time he returned to Minidoka to farm. He married Judith Ann Dentherage on June 5, 1971, at Rupert. He was employed by and part owner of Sunset Aviation in Burley.

Surviving are his wife of Minidoka; two sons, Mark Stewart and Daniel Stewart, both of Minidoka; Two daughters, Cindy Stewart, and Becky Stewart, both of Minidoka; his parents, Mr and Mrs Lee Stewart of Minidoka; three brothers, Rodney Stewart and Jerry Stewart, both of Minidoka, and Roy Stewart of Midland, Tex; his paternal grandfather, Victor V Stewart of Eugene; his maternal grandmother, Eunice Porter of Eugene; and his father and mother-in-law, Mr and Mrs James Dentherage of Castleford.
